I recently picked up a copy of Glenn Lewis' Live DVD featuring Brian Frasier-Moore on drums.
I hadn't heard much of Brian's playing or Glenn's music and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by both. Glenn's music is so soulful and well written, and he has an absolutely beautiful voice. The band with him is very tight. Brian's playing fits perfectly and he lets loose every now and then. A few fills he played made my jaw drop.
The DVD is very well done and there is a good view of Brian most of the time, as he sits directly behind Glenn. If you're a fan of Brian Frasier-Moore's drumming or Glenn Lewis' music then pick it up. You won't be dissappointed! [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]

Yeah, he's modern R&B, I guess you would say. His website doesn't have much content. Amazon has some samples from his cd. I ordered the DVD from them and I just ordered his cd too.

I interviewed Brian for a UK drum magazine, and I have to say, after spending a few days with him, he is the most talented, but most madly humble player around!!!
He can play every lick Weckl has ever played, he's memorised all his solos and can real them off like that! Not to say he's a clone, he's far from it. But he has a massive technical capacity along with his groove...
He is so humble at first I thought he was fishing for compliments, but it just happens that he is truely unaware of how powerful his playing is.
He is a true gent...

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Speaking of Billy Ashbaugh, he is a phenominal drummer and one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, very easy to talk too. I had a chance to take a couple of lessons with him when I was in Orlando a few years ago and see a clinic of his about a year later. Yes, Daniel, he is a fine drummer. That's why i mentioned him next to BFM [img]wink.gif[/img] .
Some folks aren't aware of his prowess behind the kit, simply because he might be dismissed as being in one of the highly successful pop "boy bands." But those who are "in the know," know. Along the lines of Sucherman with Styx - what he plays with them is great, but what he is capable of otherwise is even much more so.
& yes, Ash' is a pleasant chap, to boot.
